When you come to the Narthex outside of the Sanctuary, you will see these darling bears and you might wonder what they are for!
The bears are there for anyone who needs a hug. Worshippers can take a bear to someone in the hospital or in-need at home. Some are given to the police to have on hand to comfort a child who has been in an accident.
The bears are made from old denim jeans! You can donate scrap material or jeans, or you can help make them. Call the church office to find out how to get involved.
